Tony Singer, High 5 Games’ CEO, highlights the company’s HTML5 pipeline delivering content for real money gaming and how distribution growth will be led by partnering with the best in breed operators.
“We are the hitmakers looking to disrupt the online market.”
EGR Intel (EGR): High 5 Games has experienced great success in the social casino space in the last few years – why is there now a renewed interest in real money content licensing?
Tony Singer (TS): Both real-money and social casino gaming are lucrative and sustainable businesses. Our DNA has always been, and will always remain rooted in real money, where we first built our reputation. Yes, our focus in the last few years has been swayed towards social free-to-play opportunities, but we have never stopped advancing our commitment to becoming one of the premier casino content providers for all Real Money Gaming venues.
EGR: What is the importance of standing out in this industry and how does High 5 Games manage to accomplish this?
TS: As you know, our industry is driven by content. We are in a hits business and content will always be king. H5G has enough games in our library that could supply new content to the top operators for the next 3+ years; including over 100 iconic brands that we produced for IGT, such as Hoot Loot, Secrets of the Forest, and Double Da Vinci Diamonds. These proven winners will always attract traditional slot enthusiasts looking for that authentic Vegas experience. In the last few years, we really focused on spending the necessary time refining and mastering our games for mobile web consumption and developing new gameplay best suited for online wagering.
EGR: What matters more these days: game quantity or quality?
TS: What sets High 5 Games apart from other content providers is quality and quantity. As I mentioned, our library is filled with hits from our 20 years of land-based experience that has also netted us close to 50 unique game feature patents. Our studio’s commitment to push game innovation has never waned. At H5G, we try not to follow industry trends, but rather chart our own course in finding that next winning combination of math and art which will give players a unique ride that cannot be easily replicated.
EGR: How fast will online gaming scale in North America now that sports betting is coming online?
TS: Obviously, this has awoken the industry a bit and the buzz is back for online gaming in North America. We see plenty of movement on this side of the pond that we haven’t seen in over a year and talks have accelerated both on the regulatory side and investment community. The potential may finally be realized and we are well positioned to cement ourselves as one of the content leaders.
EGR: How will the High 5 VAULT widen the international and growing North American markets for H5G?
TS: We have built VAULT simply as a gateway or access point to our great content library. H5G is open for business and we plan to deliver over 100+ HTML5 games by close of 2018 and will have a consistent cadence of four games per month for the foreseeable future. We have completed integrations with several of the top aggregators, such as SGDigital, Gameiom, Bede, and Pariplay, and are open to direct integrations with operators who value great content. This newly architected HTML5 pipeline now offers our proven content to more players in more places than ever before.
